Anodising forms a protective oxide layer on aluminium profiles, sections, hardware and engineering components. Plant layout starts with the largest component, batch size and finishing sequence. Pre-treatment, anodising, rinsing and sealing stages should be specified together rather than selecting the rectifier in isolation.
Required current depends on the total surface area treated and the process current density. Voltage, cooling and control requirements vary between normal and hard anodizing. Share your process specification, electrical supply and operating conditions to select a suitable DC power supply; a machine rating alone does not define the complete process.
